To be a non-sectarian, non-profitable, non-political organization whose primary aim and objective is to develop a vibrant Indian community through faith, education, welfare and support integration into the Danish society.

OBJECTIVES OF IMAD

  • To promote the common values of pluralism, tolerance, and respect for human rights that form the basis of secular democracies – Denmark and India.
  • To promote better understanding of Islam as a religion of peace, tranquillity, justice, tolerance and universal brotherhood.
  • To facilitate social integration in Denmark by connecting and creating space for mutual dialogue and understanding across religions, cultures and other organizations.
  • To organize vivid cultural and social programs to inform, connect, inspire and celebrate festivals of interest to the Indian community in Denmark.
  • To provide a platform to raise, discuss, act on issues affecting the Indian community in general.
  • To arrange comprehensive range of educational, welfare and skill enhancement programs.
